About Spyros Lambrou
Award-winning photographer based in Athens, Greece. Initially self-taught, then studied at the Photocircle Group in Athens under professor Platon Rivellis (www.rivellis.gr, www.photocircle.gr). Work prior to 2015 is analog, and is mentioned as such; all subsequent work is digital. I am currently active mainly in natural and urban landscape, historical/archaeological, and conceptual photography. Part of my work has been published in the daily and periodical press, locally and internationally (PHOTO magazine, Black+White Photography magazine, SHOTS magazine, B&W magazine - to be published). I have taken part in solo and group exhibitions in Greece, Cyprus and (only group in) the USA. This page was inactive for some time, but it is now (9/2019) vigorously updated with recent work. Thank you very much for taking an interest in this work and short bio. You may also look me up at www.facebook/TheSparagmatist; posts on awards, commendations and publications can be read there.
